And Over
The right help can make life so much easier, even after a setback like a broken
hip or leg. Your Physiotherapist will help you to walk again and restore your
independence. Physiotherapists can treat many health problems experienced by
older people, such as Arthritis, bladder control difficulties, stroke and Osteoporosis. |

|
At
Work
A Physiotherapist can help you improve the safety and efficiency of your work
practices. Whether working at home, the office, the factory or on the farm, you
may experience
back pain, neck pain, muscle strains and Sciatica. Your Physiotherapist is well
equipped to treat the problem and teach you good working habits. |

Prevention
Is Better Than Cure
If you practise good working and moving habits, you are less likely to injure
yourself again. Having identified the factors that led to your problem in the
first place, your Physiotherapist can help to advise you on how to avoid problems
in the future. Importantly, a Physiotherapist will not only advise you on what
exercises to do, but tell you when you shouldn’t exercise; what movements
or exercises to avoid; and if you need further medical involvement before safely
embarking upon a new exercise program or returning to your normal daily activities. |
